What is a 'Ghost Update'? I had an update last night in my account and nothing really changed...Is this something to worry about? Please help!!!
It means progress was made in your application, you don't see those changes. The last such update is when you're requested to submit your passports. Your application is moving forward.
Can you share what exactly u received in ur account as an update?
Because i want to also check in my account
So, last night I logged in to my cic account and the 'Current Status' showed 'Application Updated'. When I went to check the detailed application status, nothing had changed. This was on a saturday night.
On Oct 9th my application moved to ip2 with same kind of update. But only this time there was no change. Kinda confused!!!

Technically a ghost update as did not get an email for the same. May be not a ghost update as Review of Documents changed to Not Applicable and background check moved to We are processing your background check. My details are as under:-
FSWO - India
VO - CPC Ottawa
AOR 21st June, 2018
IP1 - 10th July, 2018
RPRF - 24th July, 2018
IP2 - 13th October, 2018
GCMS notes - Never Ordered
I have been a passive member of this forum all this while. Just wanted to share the update for fellow friends who benchmark their progress with fellow members.

This is the most likey scenario- Your application has been approved. ppr on the way.
