But why are they asking you to send in the IMM5481 and Option C printout again if you already sent them? That would be my concern if I were you. Both are definitely required for spousal sponsorship and they aren't using these to test your income.

Could they have been just simply misplaced, and that is the VO's way of correcting that situation by having you resubmit what they possibly have misplaced

I messed up with the Option C printout.. I got confused about the income requirements documents.. However I did send in the 5481.. So I'm assuming either it was misplaced, or they want it a new one at the same time as they receive the Option C..

Since they are asking for information from the timeframe when application was received, should I fill in the 5481 with the info from that date (June 2014) and not current info (have changed employer since then)?

Since you will be signing this form it may be best to use your current info but also include your previous employer too. If I remember correctly there is space for previous employers. Have you included your record of employment from both ? I think its a good idea to include that record.

On this version of the IMM5481 (4/2012) this is only a space for current employer.. But yes, I will include information about previous and current employer and dates. Just in case... Will be triple checking everything this time.

Its a letter from the employer(s) that is dated showing when you began employment, your last rate of pay, how many hours on average you worked, Mine even had my SIN number on it, Complete identity of your employer(s) ie: business number, incorporation number, address and phone number of the business and it will also be signed by an authorized person.

Make sure you photo copy this too in case its lost some where along the way.

Just received SA on Aug/20/2014. My husband is a Brazilian and currently working in Canada. We got an email from Sao Paulo office that my husband needs to make up two documents : fingerprinting from RCMP and Police certificate from Brazilian Federal Police. The first one is easy since he is physically in Canada with a valid work permit. The second one we have enclosed in very beginning application package but it's only valid for 3 months (he got it when he traveled back to Brazil), but I guess it has expired. My question is does my husband need to go back to Brazil again to obtain the police certificate or can he get police certificate in Canada because he has been working in Canada since 2012. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Just wanted to ask my application has been sent to new delhi as well but do you know if new delhi will contact us about AOR so we know that they've received it or not??

Also, under permanent resident is says medicals have been received.

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen and I am sponsoring my Norwegian common-law spouse. We both live i Norway. Our application was received on June 26, my sponsorship was approved on August 19, and they requested his medical test results this week.

Hoping for swift processing time through Ottawa. I am not sure why they wanted to process our application there instead of London. Anyone know?

I had an email last week about my Long Form Marriage Certificate being rejected as being a "Marriage License".
I sent a reply email stating that it is a Marriage Certificate but Long Form and if it's the File Size Marriage Certificate you require, I'll post that asap. I had to order an Emergency request.
I've looked on ECAS this morning and my status has changed from "Application Received" to "In Process".
1. I'm worried that they are going to reject it because of the above.
2. Is there a direct number I can contact to confirm with them they actually have the Long Form Marriage Certificate?!
