I'm following this thread for my brother who submitted his application to sponsor his wife .
He sent in his application on June 3 by Purolator, CIC received June 4.
Visa Office: Manila
Destination: Alberta

Yikes, so I have to pretty much wait to hear back in the next few months (55 days and increasing) to know whether or not they actually received it. Australia Post doesn't seem to have a way of tracking internationally, which is strange because they gave me a tracking number that doesn't work, but insured me it's "signature on delivery" - comforting. -_-

Well, fingers crossed that it actually made it there. I don't trust immigration offices much after the Australian Immigration office received papers, but had my money order go missing which was in the same envelope and claimed that they "looked everywhere but it was never received".

What.. so you lost that money? : (

The wait is tough! I wonder why some people actually get an Acknowledgement of Receipt while most don't. Mine was also received by Stephanie at CPC-M through UPS.

Hope that the signature on delivery puts your mind at ease.

Could you setup the columns (i.e., No. of Days since Application Rec'd) so that it auto-calculates number of days passed?

I have a question. When you withdraw the application do they send back the complete application package that you sent them?

I requested that they send the application package back when I withdrew. It's been almost a month and we haven't heard a thing, so I still have no idea if they will return it. I will let everyone know whether you get it back or not once I know!

Hi all: thanks for all of the information all over this site! Our Application was received (sent by FedEx) today at CPC: Mississauga. Medicals were done June 2nd. VO is Vienna, destination is Quebec.

I've been updating the formulas as people add their names. I can do it in advance but, without the other data, it just returns today's date for each blank line which looks odd and may be confusing. I have also reordered our names based upon date of receipt of application. I will be out of the country for a couple of weeks so will not be able to update the spreadsheet but you all have access to update it if you need to

Does anyone else go crazy waiting for the weekly updates to the CIC processing time chart?

Not going crazy waiting because my wife is with me, but still look each week at the time line.
