June 2014 - CEC applications

Guys, this journey for a PR doesn't seem to be a smooth one
I have received my MR on Feb 21st but my representative was not aware of it. When I called the CIC service number then I came to know about this.
I Finally got my MR on Feb 26th, 2015. I have finished all the tests on March 2nd but today on March 5th, my doctor called me to inform that my creatinine and serum level is 123 where as the normal range is 50 to 120.

I am just curious to know your opinion on , how positive can I be to expect further processing of my file and get a Passport request ?
How many days will it take for these results to get update on my CEC profile ? right now it is showing In process.

My first advice - Do not worry unless you have to.

Here is what happened to me.

I got MR on January 28, did medicals on Jan 30. Then I got a call from my doctor that i had some elevated results and she did further tests to prove that nothing was wrong. She sent both the reports to CIC on Feb 6.

I waited for 2 weeks for ECAS to update. As I noticed some of those who had their medicals uploaded around same time had their ECAS updated to Medicals Received; I thought of calling my doctor and did so on Feb 24 (after 16 days of initial submission) to check if they ever get any update from CIC at all.

It was then I found out that my medical file was returned to the doctor with request for more tests. Doctor said usually CIC sends a letter to applicant saying you have to go again for medicals, but i dint get any mail from CIC at that time. So doctor suggested that I should do my requested tests because i will have to it regardless of whether I receive mail or not. They had the list of tests I had to get done from my eMedical file.

I did my further medical tests on Feb 26 and on Feb 27 I got letter from CIC in mail asking to do the tests. The letter was dated 24 Feb. My final reports came normal and results were uploaded on March 3.

I would suggest that you go see your family doctor about your elevated results and take medication if you have to because most likely you will have to repeat that test again on CIC's request. You have to do new tests within 90 days (3 months).

I must give a shout out to my doctor - she was very supportive and calmed me down through this process.

There is nothing to worry, it is just a bump on the road. I hope this helps.

Sounds like a very understanding person. Could you please share the name and location of the panel physician you went to?

today i received MR and Police Certificates request. But I sent Police Certificates in last August after I got AOR with Canada Post Xpress, and they received them with signature.
Apparently they didn't put the Police Certificates with my application package. I did include one explanation letter with my Police Certificates.

They ask me to send them Police Certificates within 60 days, but today I went to Japanese consulate and they told me it takes 3 months to get a new one.

Just now I sent email to cpc-ctd-ottawa, said that you received my Police Certificates already (attached their signature as evidence), please find it!
Also I asked them to extend the 60 days deadline to 100 days since the Police Certificates from Japan takes 3 months!

The auto-replied email said they will response to my email after one month!

Is there a faster way to reach them? Do they have a phone number?

Now start worrying that I may have my application rejected after 60 days :'( since they may say "oh, I don't care how long it takes to get Police Certificates from Japan, You just failed to send us the Police Certificates within 60 days."

What I should do? Any suggestions?

hi guys - ones who've recieved a PCC request so far, can you pls confirm?
- what was your original PCC issue date?
- was the PCC (one that has been re-requested) it to a country you lived in the past or have been living beyond original PCC issue date?

Just trying to determine if I would get another PCC request or not with some of the factors above.... Thx.
