Few Examples of "Decision Made/Refused" before Medical. But still they are in Canada! (Bottomline! Don't lose hope....continue your efforts till success

Today I have seem my status changed on cic website, so far I have submitted my updated documents on 03/12/2008 and now in 19/01/2009, the status dispalyed 'decision made' amd medical not done , should I treat my case rejected or any chance for acceptance. Need view from all.

I will be in Toronto on 19-Nov-2010 with my wife and one son;

1. Medical and PR Card

I will be travleing with wife in pragagny week of 34, I have taken temprary travel insurance for 3 month here from a company in saudi Arabia but maternity is not covered, so what do you advise, which would be the cost and how to find the doctor? What is process to get PR card? Can I leave without PR card to saudi?

2. Proof of fund

I have already taken about 18,000 Canadian dollar cash with me, is this ok?

3. Return to Saudi

Since I need to retrun to saudi with in 30 days time, how quikcly, I will be able to get the brith registration and brith ceritificate and passport of new new born, so that I should be able to get back home quikcly. I have one of close relative there, who enusred fully help in all respect as well.

Guys...do i take this as definite yes !!! can u confirm again that decision made before medicals = rejection !!!! i cant understand how come my colleagues who it happen to apply same day,almost same qualifications they still in process ....

another question,would it be an e-cas mistake !!! does this happen !!!

Let me get this straight,i do have USA visa and was planning to go to Detriot via car ,would i be able to come back to Canada without my PR and with only the landing visa!!!

1)Can anyone tell me that whether it is possible to be called for interview even after your status has changed to decision made with medicals received and passports and landing fees submitted?
Visa office is new Delhi. (submitted on 13-feb-12)
I'm a bit worried for me as it's been 7 days since DM and no passports received yet.
2) Do they check your work experience and ielts result as well again at this stage?

i am june 2011 applicant, my medical results have been received from almost from three months and still ' in process ', visa office is new delhi. when will they will go further?

iam slient viewer of this site here is my question, have been in Oman in June 2007 and left from there in DEC 2007, i got PCC from oman and my wife was in London 2010 she came back in 2010 we both got our pcc from Oman as well as London in last august 2011 is there any necessary to get fresh pcc from those countries where we worked before, because some of my friends said it is valid for only six months, any how we left long back, please reply

If u stay outside delhi..den it takes 8-10 days for PP to be recieved.. as it comes by speed post..

Dnt worry at all..Start packin..u r out of d wrst waitin time..

Hi Vikas,

It seems your timelines so far have been fast as well. Hope you revive your passports soon too.
Even i sent my application in Jun-11 and med, pcc, landing fees submitted 9-mar-12.

I live in Delhi and that's why i'm a little concerned.

Some things are brewing in CIC, as Minister Kennedy is giving speech and press releases are out every other day ... in the recent one:
Proposed changes to the economic immigration system include:

updating federal business immigration programming related to investors and entrepreneurs;
creating a new Federal Skilled Trades program;
modifying the Canadian Experience Class to better facilitate skilled temporary workers’ successful transition to permanent residence;
developing a “start-up” visa that would link immigrant entrepreneurs with investors;
strengthening the assessment of education credentials of applicants to the Federal Skilled Workers Program;
exploring, with provinces, territories and employers, approaches to developing a pool of skilled workers who are ready to begin employment in Canada; and
setting minimum language requirements and shifting to a solely economic focus within the Provincial Nominee Program.

its a pleasant surprise as your NOC (1231) is not there in the recent lists. congrats !

may be in the next MI, they might include this category in the NOC list as they have already said that they will prioritize the required NOCs. this one is likely to be in demand in next MI.
