My application was received on July 08-2020 n AOR -23rd decembar but still everything is in progress. So far I have noticed that most applicants here and on Facebook have there background checks completed way back in March. Not sure what's going on with my application.

I have one application that still in progress while another application that was sent with it that shows completed in March. Background checks are different based on the person I guess.

I have the same status. Where is your file presently? Mine is at local office.. also did you fill same info like work exp and addresses same as in your PR file. I will be requesting gcsm report

Mine is at vancouver local office.yes my information is the same as my PR application. Bro don't worry they don't care check anything from past your address is just checked if IRCC has a lot of applicants with similar address at present or in the past and same with the employer if they are blacklisted.

Does anyone know for background checks, how many years do they look back . I was in Malaysia and Saudi Arabia for about 3-4 years each between 2003 and 2010. Will the background checks cover that time. I provided my PCC during PR application.

It says my background check is done, and my language proficiency, prohibitions, physical presence are in progress. Background finished on March 10. I wonder how much times it takes for test invite from here.

Anyone here with similar timelines?

I have the same...background completed March 10th and the rest in progress

My application was received on July 23, 2020 and AOR was on Jan 20, 2021.After that I have not got any email / mail for Background check or so / Test invite..
I just keep checking status on ECAS portal where it says " App in Progress".

From which email ID would I get test invite email ? Also any other way for checking exact status.?

Thanks..Unfortunately I dont have AOR / Case no/ Application no .I just called CIC helpline and they informed me that they received my application and AOR email does not get triggered sometimes.some system issue, However she sent me link of citizenship test guide.
I checked ECAS portal to double check it.

I see the above link would require Application no .Should I call CIC and ask for my AOR ? What do you suggest ?

When was ur application recieved by CIC. Are u based out of Toronto.

Used to live in downtown Toronto when I applied.

Application sent on July 15
Received on July 20
Per ECAS, in process from Feb 8

I am waiting for FP request as per ircc I should recieve it soon but still no email. How much is this going to delay my process?
