Finally received AOR on Oct 18th after a long waiting . It was sent on Aug 20th to wrong email id and strange yday I got reply from CIC and today from the person whom it was sent by mistake.

Got my BOWP in the mail.. I assume it arrived on Friday, October 17th 2014 but i only checked on the 18th 2014.

I had applied via paper based application on August 21, 2014.... I did it without an AOR at the time and to date still did not receive an AOR... So i guess Luck and prayers played a big part... They had issued the Work Permit on Sept 26, 2014 for 1 year.... I guess there was a mailing delay....

Hi Friends,

I have a question, as per the below information full time employments means 30 hours per week of paid work. Say if I have 40 hours of paid work per week and if I have worked in Canada for 11 months, am I eligible to apply under Canadian experience class? Because technically I have completed required number of hours for 1 year. Please help, I am confused.

You must have obtained at least 12 months of full-time, or the equivalent in part-time, skilled work experience at NOC Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week.

This work experience must have been acquired in Canada within the 36 months preceding the date your properly completed application is received by the CIO.

You do not have to be employed at the time of your application."

to be eligible under CEC you have to fulfill both at the same time: minimum of 1560 hours (full time week is 30 hours. You can't calculate whatever hours over 30 per week) as well as 1 year (52 weeks) of work under NOC 0, A or B. So even if you finished your 1560 hours in 11 months you're still not eligible. You need 1 more month to work.

^1 more month of at least 30 hours weekly if I may add.
