Am a July 4th Applicant. We got our PER on the 31st of October and Still trying to understand what happens next. From What I have been viewing in the forums is that the next step is the MR. My question -

1. How long does the background check take before I get an email for the MR.

Next step is MR, u should get this in two months time from PER date.I have 3rd july PER, still waiting for MR.

Well, thanks for your reply. Since am on this forum now - I did want to ask you a question regarding funds.

- Do they have to be constantly available in my account from the time I applied till I receive my visa. I'm asking this because we might be having a slight fluctuation due to one of them being a salary account. That account is mostly used for our general expenses.

Will this be something I need to look into.

- Also the question about ECAS updating the "2nd line" - are you referring that to the Medical request.

As per SS, Latest app status processes (After PER) is a second line to a June 25th applicant.

So, I hope I can have an update next week, unless they started Xmas celebrations.

For 2nd line, yes i am referring to MR

For funds, i dont think so that funds have to be consistent. I havent read anything like this is any of the rules. Also i havent seen anybody doing like this.infact i have seen few of my friends submitting differet funds portfolio at different times.
