Great !!! I'm sure you gave a biiiig sigh of relief, the moment you saw it. Regarding RPRF, as you are in India, choose a good bank that can identify the date of liquidation of the dd.
Please find the details of Fees in this link:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/pr_fees-frais_rp.aspx?lang=eng&view=d
"Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) - 24,010 INR". Ensure the DD has "Clearing Branch - New Delhi" written on it. I suggest INR for simplicity as the DD is being encashed in India (New Delhi) itself. USD will result in unnecessary conversion fees for both parties.
Note :
The RPRF fee is payable by principal applicants (with the following exceptions) and accompanying spouses and common-law partners
Exceptions to RPRF: Dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and protected persons, including Convention refugees.
