from what I read earlier, the number of points may go down for work experience and age above 35. I will find that info and post it here for SOCIAL1988, helpp and all the others planning to apply in MI4.

This year in Feb/Mar a consultation was conducted by CIC on Proposed changes to FSW program. The MI4 should most probably come out with some /all proposed changes , a week ( +/- few days ) before July 2012. Although there are reports going on in the forum that CIC might place temporary moratorium on FSW program, can't say how much of it is true.

Overview: Federal Skilled Worker Points Grid

Selection based on objective factors: Current System Maximum points: Proposed System Maximum points:
Education1 25 25
Language 24 28
Work Experience 21 15
Age 10 12
Arranged Employment 10 10
Adaptability 10 10
Total: 100 100
Education: Proposed changes will reduce the number of years (from 12 to 10) of schooling required to earn full points for a post-secondary vocational, technical or trades credential. This change will give tradespersons an additional seven points on the grid.
Age: Under the current points grid, maximum points are accorded up to age 49; with changes, maximum points would be accorded to age 35, with diminishing points accorded thereafter.
Pass Mark is 67

any ideas about the fact that some applicants already got inprocess before RBVO, even not getting a second AOR. what does it means really?

The definition of 'In process' have to seem to changed in MI3 and hence the inprocess before RBVO.

OMG I logged on today with mixed feelings and a hope to read lots of good news. But what do I see instead? So much love and good wishes floating around! I am SOOOO happy guys.
