Scottish K,

Your time of applying is post July'11 (MI3). If/if not 1122 remains on the list of occupations ,will in no way affect your application .
Applications are processed according to the rules in effect at the time of applying. Go ahead with your baby plans. Good luck.
Interesting question from Scottish K... Most of the applicants are in hurry to get visa and go for landing ASAP, but there are some cases where people are not in hurry and want to delay their landing for some time. In that case, what is the maximum time-line of delaying (or the longest scenario) from the side of applicant?? Let's assume that everything goes quickly and OK from VO side.

Hello members...i would like to ask seniors for their expert opinion;

i submitted my application with two statements from banks "A" & "B" as POF. "A" is my company maintained salary account in my name and the nature of the account don't allow large deposits as it is limited to my salary only. "B" is my personal saving account having much of my POF. Will this work fine i.e two statements from two different banks?

Further to this, can i transfer my funds from bank "B" to another bank i.e "C" giving me good interest rate and other facilities also....please advise would this be a wise-able move as i'll be then submitting 3rd statement to my application that may create confusion to VO or may not?

Please advice...
Hi Good_sana there is no issue at all, you can send all your statements, the purpose is to prove that the funds belongs to you either in your name or your partner's name who is included in the application.

Regards.

Once you get your visa, you are given 5 months to land in Canada. That was the condition given to my brother and 6 other cousins who applied for the FSW program last year. One cousin was allowed an extension, but only for one month.

Actually, you have 12 months starting from medical to land in Canada. Very inconvenient given that one can get visa 10-11 months after the medical. I read on this forum about such cases.

Hi guys! Please help me to decide ;D, I have an arranged employment as a live-in caregiver with LMO and contract. At present, I am still here in the Philippines and waiting for the release of my permit as my employer requested my application to be expedite. My husband is already in Canada but he is a TFW and cannot sponsor us to go with him. Would this mean that i can still apply the FSW under 3152 Registered nurse even if my arranged employment is as alive-in caregiver? The duration of my employment is until 2013 and can be renewed if the employee wishes, this is stated in the contract. Would this be enough for the requirement such as indeterminate basis?

In this case, the offer of employment is valid if your prospective employer

has made an offer to hire you on an indeterminate basis if you are accepted as a federal skilled worker, and
has obtained a positive Arranged Employment Opinion from HRSDC

And in case I will file for it, what will be my visa office? if in case I'll be flying to Canada this year? Mas ok b n dito n ako mag apply o pagnkarting n lng ako ng Canada? which one has an advantage po kaya? Thank you ang gulo ng utak ko pkitulungn lng po mag isip ;D Salamat po!

Thank you all for the wishes. :)
I feel like a winner already in this pursuit of Canada with so many lovely friends I found on this thread.
I wish success to each & everyone & hope that we all are there for each other even after when our journey to Canada successfully ends.

Dear Seniors,

Good day. I am AUGUST 25th applicant, NOC 7242 and now I am worry about my job experience.

1) I have about 8 years experience and about 5 years are under 7242, worked in company A(3 years) and B(2 years). When I submit letter of references from my employers(company A and B), they never mention about my main duties although I gave sample of reference letter, they said they have their format(can't follow my format). Moreover, I forget to put my resume in my application package.

2) Now my question is can they reduce points from my working experience because they can't find main duties in my references letter from my company A and B?

OR they request these references letter complete with main duties from me, after RBVO state?
Please let me know all of your comments.
Because my points based on my calculation are as per below,

1) Education-20
2)Age-10
3)working experience-21(because more than 5 years under NOC 7242)
4) IELTS-12
5)spouse- 4
Total= 67 points
