Hi, which category are you applying under? I think what is missing is your IELTS score. In the new form, it specifically states that only those who have applied previously can submit a copy of the IELTS score with a letter stating the reasons why a copy and not the original is being submitted. I would request the IELTS to send the score again, tell them to send to your work place.

"Applicants are permitted to submit a copy of their language test results with a new application only if the original test results were submitted with a previous federal skilled worker application on or after June 26, 2010 and were not returned to the applicant....." IMM5612E

I got my file back today, they mentioned that you did not submit old file rejection letter with photo copy of the IELTS exam score card.

I sent my file on 18 July 2011, afternoon IST. CIC updated their website with new forms and check list 18 Sep 2011 Canada time. I sent my file with old checklist and old form, now according to new checklist they sent my file back because I did not put last year rejection letter.
I attached one seprate application attached with photocopy of scorecard and mentioned old file. Why they did not get rejection letter from their system.

Please guide me,
Can I send a whole file with last year rejection letter. because site is showing 401 application has been received till 31st Oct ??

Please guide me ASAP.

Firstly, I am sorry for you. Let me correct you that the new forms were updated on 18 July 2011 and not on 18 sep 2011. From the ss, I understand that your application was sent or signed before the online updates were made on 18 July 2011. Hence, your application should be assessed with the instructions in the old forms.I tried to look at both the checklists for you. Here is what they say

Old Checklist - 03-2011
Original of IELTS score should be sent. It should not be older than two year. Application will not be processed without IELTS.

New Checklist - 07-2011
All copies of language test results are accepted if accompanied by a copy of the refusal letter from CIC and explanation that CIC retained and holds the original.

Since your application is not meeting either of the requirements listed above, they must have sent you a refusal letter now.

If you plan to send your application again, remember to use the updated checklist and the new forms since the old forms will not be accepted after 14th November 2011. You may have a very faint chance of making it into the cap but it is worth giving a try.

Now comes a saying that has it that when the going is tough,the toughs get going,i packaged another application which was received by CIO MIke on 04-08-2011 for NOCs 1122/0631.

Still believing God for the greatest miracles ever!

I inquired about the status of my application received on Aug 24 after 06 weeks, but got response yesterday that they could not trace it, however it might be in queue waiting for initial assessment.
Have you sought status of your application, as you qualify to seek status

Hello to everybody!!

Have been following this thread for a while now and I've found it very useful. Please add my details to spreadsheet at your earliest convenience.
App. filed: 6th July 2011
Noc: 6142 (Chef)
VO: London
PER: 20th sep.
Ecas: "In process"

As for other london applicants I got my PER by e-mail (forwarded by immigration agent) and got also confirmation for payment of fees (some receipt number). My agent said should get update between 16 to 24 weeks from date of PER and that aplication should take between 8 to 12 months from VO to make decision. They did say the timelines given were for applications sent by them over the last six months. However from what I have been reading on other threads applications received within this year (specially May to Aug) received MRs within 1 to 2 months of arriving to VO, so not very sure what to think. Hopefully the timelines won't be as long as my agent predicts.
Any additional info on the matter would be really appreciated.
