Landed in Vancouver in May (2016)
started looking for a job in early June
sent around 20 applications
got 4 interviews (executive assistant at a school, marketing position at a college, marketing position at a promotion agency, marketing position at a trading company)
started working as a marketing role (permanent position) in a trading company from end June (2016)
now heading for 1-year maternity leave soon (after working for nearly 8 months)...

Personal background:
4 years experience in marketing positions in trading companies (Hong Kong)
Master's degree in marketing communication
English is not my first language

Our company is still recruiting buyers, inventory planners, warehouse administration assistant etc.. ideal candidates should have relevant experience + Asian language skills (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)... we have Vancouver and Toronto divisions.
