Hello,
I need to be informed about an issue. I have recieved a file number after my application has been recommended for further processing with direction that my case in under process.

I submitted job experience letter that i have been working as college instructor in my application. Some days back I quit the job due to unavoidable reasons. However, collega administration ensured me that any query regarding my job experience for July, 2000 to December, 2009 from canadian embassy will be entertained as per rules and regulations. Now I want to inform the embassy about the change in my case. could this change put wrong effect on my case. What do you think what will be consequences--Postive or negative.

Looking forward your response at earliest.

I don't know anyone who has done this but I don't see any consequence of quitting a job.

I agree with you, man. I think one could be jobless and still apply as long as the 6-7 criteria are fulfilled.
It is nowhere stated that you have to be in employment to be eligible to apply. Or is it somewhere?
ASFAIK, People quit every now and then looking for better jobs with better terms, pay and benefits.
Hence, it should not be anything to worry about as long as you can prove what you have been doing, especially while filling out the background declaration form, or is it the Last 10 years employment history. Not sure. Anyone, what I mean is all those forms that you are normally asked to submit. Don't blame me, I've not even started anything yet. (LOL)

I think you should inform the embassy of your situation and update them again once you assume a new position.

i don't think it will affect in ur case. i have quit my job and assist my father in our business during the visa process and till the last stage i feel that their is no effect of being jobless.
i quit my job after getting approval from sydeny and before submitting doc to chc Nd. i have explain it in cover letter.
on safer side u can write cover letter to ur chc and explain it.
