Job experience with distance learning will be counted for canadian PR ?

Hi All,

I've done all my education through distance learning.

PGDCA program from ECIL-ECIT ( Gov approved IT institute)
BCA-MCA (integrated course) from IGNOU (recently passed)

I'm working since 2007 and having experience of IT industry. Will my work experience count by canada immigration program?

Kunjal,

1) You must send your degree to WES for evaluation and they will let u know at which canadian academic level your degree gets evaluated.
2) IT is a vast sector, you need to have a specific work profile and job descripition in order to get points for your work experience.

Its your call but I would suggest not to waste any money on so called visa agents as most of them mislead ppl specially if u based in India. Kindly go thorugh different threads on this forum and you would find real life examples of enitre immigration process.

Hi Kunjal,

I am in the same situation as how you were three years back. How did it go for you, how did you show the work experience and education overlap in express entry filing application process???? Please guide us. It will be of immense help !!!!
For me, below is my education info and work experience:

1. BCA-MCA (integrated course) from IGNOU completed in 2008.
2. Working in IT industry since 2006-till date.
