anyways,give it a try.
and to get into pg diploma u need to have min 6 in ielts.
rewrite ielts and score atleast 6.5 overall and 6 in all individual modules,to be on safe side.
if not apply for advanced diploma programs
choose advanced diploma-fast track programs

I have overall 6.5 in ielts but in writng module is 5.5
what is the difference between pg diploma and advanced diploma/fast track programs..?

1.George Brown
2.Georgian
3.Centennial
4.Fanshawe

Do you think its already a little late ?
My education consultant does not seem to think so. But you guys will have a better idea I am sure.

My IELTS is 21st Sept so will get the result by 1st week of October.
I have to give my course and college preference to my consultant in next two days - for arrangement of offer letter.
Rest the Canadian Block Account and everything else needs to be done as well.

Is this too late or if I manage things quickly I can still go through.
Honest opinions frenz..

How much tougher your guys thing this Academic IELTS will be ?

Also, I have a graduation in Business Studies (Marketing Specialization)
2.5 Years work ex as a Business Manager - Pharmaceutical Firm.
2.5 Years work ex as a Research Associate - Credit Rating & Business Research Firm.

but start ur processing as early as possible as some colleges take time to process ur application.
apply with documents u have and u'll be offered conditional offr letter
after getting ielts score send ur score to them and they'll release unconditional offer letter.
i dont know abt fanshawe and georgian
but centennial,i applied to it and received offer letter in a week
and george brown ....applied to it on 19 aug .....still waiting

overall 6.5 is good but to apply for a pg diploma course u need to have minimum 6 in individual modules(most colleges require this).
pg diploma is done after ur 3yr or 4yr degree.(B.tech,B.E,Bsc.......)
where as advanced diploma is more valued than a diploma programs(as far as i know) where as fast track means......if the duration of a advanced diploma course is 3yrs , but in case of a fast track adv diploma the course is complete in just 2yrs.

I have applied last August 12,2013 and the school received all documents August 19,2013.. but until now no decision was made... My status is still Incomplete Outstanding I applied for January 2014 Winter intake at University of Saskatchewan.
