as far as i know..u have to send only the original result...no copies..until unless u received any official letter from CIC..(not the email)..

The problem is the original one is in CIO already!

Instruction Guide: [IMM EG7000] Applicants are permitted to submit a copy of their language test results with a new application only if the original test results were submitted with a previous Federal Skilled Worker application and were not returned to the applicant.

When you receive NER e-mail, it means they are not going to return your application; thus, it is enough that you just send the copy. Indeed, the original one is in CIO already, so why they should need the original one again!

I received my application bak sterday..... No plans for re-applying......

They have written that my application reached after the CAP was filled, hence i don't fall in the NOC 4152 category n they have sent my application bak....

they send via regular mail or registered mail if by regular mail ...they are out of mind we have original DD in their .....what if we lost it and it will create a mess for us .....

One of my friend applied from UAE and his application was refused and CIO kept all the originals documents and sent a letter, my friend applied again and attached a explanation letter with his second application for not submitting originals but after 2 months he got his second application back as it was considered incomplete because IELTS original result was not submitted, i would advise u to wait for 1st application return or order a duplicate IELTS from British Council and send it with ur second application.

congrats to all who received their PER. Im just wondering. I submitted my application last Jan 12, 2012 and CIO received my application last Jan 18, 2012. Till now i have not received any PER or NER. I have read that some Jan 30 applicant received already their PER. Kindly enlighten me. Is there any same status like mine? Thnx God bless

What is your NOC? Do you have any clue whether your processing fee en-cashed or not?

It was clearly mentioned in the letter that you are permitted to submit a copy if originals are in CIO also it was instructed that if you need your original back please letter us know and without receipt of this letter we would not send the docs back, my friend had the intention for reapplying so he didn't send any request for docs return i was in UAE during that time and we together prepared his second application, highlighted few things in CIO letter and sent it, after sending his second application to CIO after 01 month he got his 1st application's documents back even without requesting and that day he told me his second application would be refused and thats wat happened.

Thank you all for your empathy.

I received my PER just minutes ago, and I cannot describe how happy I am even by considering the fact that I know there will be a long way in front of us!
My application received by CIO January 30th.
The correspondence also acknowledges receipt of my payment dated 20 Feb 2012 in the amount of 550.00 Canadian dollars.
My status updated, I have an old file number, on Feb 22th.
NOC 7241
I received my PER nearly 30 minutes before writing this post.

Hello friend? R u still waiting for your PER? Actually CIO received my application last Jan 18, 2012 but still no PER. I read that some Jan30 applicants received their PER already. Super lucky
