Does it mean it has chance to be re-transferred to a different local office OR will the application just stay put at where it currently is???

Hi all, I am a January 2015 applicant too. My local office is Calgary.

Today in my online status, transferred to Calgary office on March 17, 2015 is disappeared. I called to CIC and talked to an agent. She was not cooperative at all and gave me some in general advice: " Disappearing a line should not be a concern, you can call us if you find any line mentioning something sent to you, but you didn't receive yet. She did not even ask my personal information to check from her side....

Really confused at this point.

Alright reading through the thread I feel a bit more at ease. My transferred to local office line disappeared too and I started to freak out! I hope all is well with my application. Good luck everyone hopefully we all get test dates soon!

How many days were you short ?

212 days of physical presence, so quite a bit. I'm generally traveling for work (I'm a consultant in the software industry) 25% of the time. I was in Canada on a work permit from September 2009 to October 2012 (when I became a PR). Thus, I'd been managing my absences so that I'd have qualified (physical presence) in October 2016. But with the new rule, I'm looking at Spring 2018 or later and thus figured it was worth trying to do it, even short of physical presence. The ability to participate in the electoral process, as well as the substantially greater safety of expressing political views make it worth taking the risk.
