I received my ITA on 22nd Dec too, under CEC. I have 2 questions:

1) Right now, I'm being held back by the medical examination. The earliest appointment I can get is next week. How long is the turnaround time for doctors using eMedical system?

2) My PGWP expires 31st July 2017. This gives me just about 7 months to get my PR in order. How long does CEC applications take these days? If it takes the whole 6 months, how much more time should I add for landing (inland application) and getting the PR card? Should I be worried about getting a bridge work permit soon?

I submitted the docs after receiving the ITA. I had received 50 points due to job offer. Due to change in project requirements I was transferred back to my home country on 3rd Jan 2017. Hopefully this will not affect my PR application. Fingers crossed...

I have reference letter on my company letter head with my NOC code, hours of work, salary, job description, designation. It also states that I am permanent employee & in Canada on Intra Company Transfer as permanent employee. I have submitted the work permit extension letter provided by my company which states that I have job offer for 24 months. My work permit is valid till 2 Jan 2019.

Due to change in project requirements, I was transferred back to my home country on 3rd Jan 2017. Hopefully this will not affect my PR application. Fingers crossed...

Guys,

Can someone please suggest me as what should be given under proof of funds to be brought to Canada for CEC category? I heard it's exempt for the people currently working in Canada, so is it ok if I give zero or provide whatever I get in my paystub.

Thanks in advance.

Hey,

I personally just reduced the amount I had originally said to 0. That removed the placeholder for the POF document upload. Another option you have is to upload a letter of explanation in that slot saying that you were invited via CEC and POF is not required.

hello everyone
I got ITA on 22nd December 2016 too under OINP CEC and submitted my application on 21st January 2017.

I am seeing myself in the same situation you described. I just received an ITA, but did not complete the 12 required months.
Were you able to get some extra information before coming to a decision on what to do? And, if you don't mind, can you share what have you done?
