Hi! I haven't heard from them since I submitted the additional documents (like I said, I will update). It's been 4 months since we submitted it. I am a june applicant and everyone is getting good updates. Do you guys think things are fine if 4 months have passed and no concern about our case?
@canuck_in_uk and @avatarkyoshi , any thoughts?
You will be fine. To deny an application on the ground of misrepresentation, the wrong/omitted information has to be material, means the info you provided on your application will endeavor the VO to take action and make a wrongful decision on your case. Since the child is an Canadian (I assumed he has a Canadian father and/or was born in Canada), it is really irrelevant to your application, and any info related to that child, to the extreme that even the sponsor hid/lied/omitted the info about that child, and CIC found it out later, is not material to your application, because the denial or approval of your application isn't based on the Child's existence.
