Hi All,

Can I use the Additional Documents section provided in eAPR application for explaining the statutory question for visa rejection which I answered yes.

When I searched in the forum it looks like people say yes to the question but wait for
IRCC to send the Schedule A form . Is that rite..?

Thanks !

No explanation required upfront. Visa refusals are fairly common and they don't really matter to your PR application unless you were refused on grounds of medical/criminal inadmissibility.

You can do either - I answered yes and put the details in an LOE.

I still was asked for Schedule A.

Thanks Asivad and ozlis !

I am planning to explain it in the additional documents section.
And then I can enter the same explanation after they ask for Scedule A.

Is the Schedule A any different than the Statutory questions section..?

I have one issue, my spouses social visit permit was applied through her friend who is a PR in Singapore (This is very common to get rejected, as they make decision within a day).
And it was rejected. But I dont have any proof to show the rejection as the result was available online only
and I was careless to not print it.
And now the rejection notice is not present in the link anymore since it is almost 2 years now. The Singapore
Immigration said the Visa number is enough and they cannot provide any letter or screenshots.
Is it ok if I just mention the rejected Visa Number and provide approval letter of her tourist visa and dependent pass which
was approved immediately after the visit permit mentioned above.

Thanks !

You actually don't need to provide visa details, I think. A lot of visa denials, such as ones by United States, have no paper trails or proof. The record of the refusal exists in Singapore's database, and CIC can (and will, if they feel it necessary) request information on your denial of visa from the embassy from them.

Does it mean the CIC has rights to get informations on Visa denials from any country through their local embassy ?

If thats the case then I would be relieved. Was in a fix after I discovered we dont have any proof for rejection.

Thanks !

Yes- because think of this from the other direction. If they could not request information, then they could theoretically never catch misinformation and misrepresentation.
