Is SIN applicatin processed at airport while landing

Hello all,

I am planning my landing by road and have a question.

1- I have heard that now a days both PR card and SIN (Social security card) applications are processed at airport when you land. Can someone confirm it is true?
2- As I am landing by road from USA, is it the same for by road landing immigrants?

airport counter for SIN (ServiceCanada) is only open during business hours.

You can always visit a ServiceCanada office to get SIN after landing, anytime. Just take your passport/copy of COPR with you.

At the land borders they don't have this facility, its only offered at major airports, like Toronto Pearson(YYZ).
