Is my job offer valid? Can I claim 50 points?

Hey guys,

I landed in Canada on January, and started an engineering job in a big software company. I have a 3 years work permit under Mobilite Francophone.
This is a full time job.

I am on express entry under the Federal Skilled Workers pool.

From what I read here on CIC , I have to wait a year at this company to get my 50 points.

Can somebody confirm my understanding?

Is your employer named on your work permit? You cannot claim those points if you are on an open work permit.

You need to have worked for the employer named on your work permit for at least a year. You would also need a letter from said employer that says you'll be employed for at least one year after you become a PR.

Yes I have a work permit for a specific employer on a specific position.
