Is it possible to get financed by a company for trade/apprenticeship as a non-Canadian?

Hi!

Canadian institutes providing trade certificates and apprenticeships often mention on their websites getting financed by a company/organization that needs that trade/skill. Because otherwise the training might be expensive.
As a non-Canadian, non-PR; can an organization finance me and then hire me afterwards as per the contract agreement.

Silly or possible, what do you think?

Thanks.

Likely impossible to get an apprenticeship. The vast majority of apprenticeships are reserved for Canadian citizens / PRs and aren't available to foreign workers.
