IRCC Strike mid-April

Hi Everyone,

I just saw on the news that IRCC is planning to have a strike starting mid april. Probably end of this week.

If it happens, processing will be impacted. Not sure if it means a complete stop or a slowdown.

Anyone knows if every IRCC agent is part of the union?

I sent my passport to Ottawa last week. Does it means that I will be stuck without my passport for however long they decide to strike?

Yes just read the new article. Unfortunately IRCC is the part but the interesting thing in the article was that the talks are still going on to go ahead, so no fixed date is given neither it is mentioned that the talks can delay it. But lets see.
