invitation letter from a friend in canada(using rtd)

Salam,,

I just want your suggestion I have a friend form Canada and I want to visit them. I'm a recognize refugee and I do have a travel document.My question can I visit my friends in Canada using this document and if so whats the steps I will apply for visitor visa online or in embassy? Invitation letter are really required?

You can try to apply for a TRV but the chances of approval are low.

canadian RTD holders enjoy visa free travel to limited countries.may be ur RTD is also qualified to travel visa free counties including Canada ! Pls check with the local Canadian embassy
If u need to apply for the visitor visa make sure you have enough evidence to proof (good job,college enrolment etc) tie to the country of ur current residence.
