Interview cancelled???

Hi,
My spouse's family had an interview (refugee case) this week in Islamabad. He just got an email two days before the interview that it has been cancelled and that they will inform him when the new date is set. I am so confused... they waited 5 years to finally get this interview and have been preparing for the interview but it got cancelled. Some people say they should still go for the interview. Has this happened to anyone else?? Do you know how long it will take to hear back from the visa office? Should they just go to the original schedule interview??

Just email Islamabad office to confirm this. Also you can call them. What probably happened was something happened with the person who was going to take your interview and they did not have anybody to take the interview so that could be a reason

same thing happened to me. immigration interview cancelled before few days,They said they will give new date. plz share their experience

No they didn't go for the interview.

Well they still haven't heard and I am hoping that it's rescheduled soon.. I don't want them waiting months just for an interview
