Why do you think this would be an issue as long as you have nothing illegal stored you should be fine and as far as I am aware you
are not obliged to declare such items any more than you would expect to declare a laptop. These are common items in Canada especially (1).

I am not aware of any illegal electronics in Canada. So should be fine.

Border services do not generally bother with anything that is not criminally illegal (or banned from entering) Canada.

Just make sure that your power conversions work. Canada is on 110V not 220V. Not an issue for most electronics and even if it is , fairly easy (though expensive) to get step up transformers.

Make sure your devices will actually work.

Good luck

CBSA are entitled to inspect anything whether they will be that interested in pirated stuff who knows as generally if they did access laptops or external drives they would be looking for far more dubious stuff based on an assessment of the traveller in front of them at the time. https://www.priv.gc.ca/en/privacy-topics/public-safety-and-law-enforcement/your-privacy-at-airports-and-borders/

There are loads of inexpensive streaming services that will offer you a fair amount of unlimited streaming (and even some downloading these days). The movies they have are not that bad either. Lots of nice series etc.

Netflix $10/month
Crave TV $5/month

I have no doubt you can find loads of other services if you look a little. Finding entertainment is not hard.

Be wary however of internet providers and band width limits. Some charge stupid amounts of money for just a little overage. I got dinged one month for $100 extra for 1 GB overage. (I naturally changed providers.

Good luck.

Hi, Where to buy electronic items and home appliances at reasonable price (i mean that stores that price the items reasonably/with some discounts)? Any store names would be helpful.
