Inquire about EE PR rejections

Hi folks,

I've applied last month for Express Entry, got called, submitted all the documents.

I got rejected for the police check - I realized that I sent the wrong file, that's ok.

However, I'd like to know if any of you got a second rejection.
Does anyone knows if they check other documents before rejecting?

I'm afraid that I could get another rejection.

If you did not submit your PCC your application should've been cancelled for being incomplete, not rejected. Since you did not go through all the assessment stages there is certainly a chance for rejection.

Yes, sorry, you are correct.
My application got cancelled, not rejected.

Could you please clarify the assessment stages?
Also what is the difference between a cancellation and a rejection?

Cancellation occurs whenever you submit an incomplete application (i.e - missing documents such as PCC, medicals, translation of documents, degree, etc).

Rejection is whenever your application has been assessed and you fail to pass one of the 4 stages (medicals, eligibility, criminality, security).

The other difference is that you do not get the processing fees back whenever your application gets rejected.

No, as your application was cancelled. It was basically only reviewed to see if you submitted a complete application. It does not mean in any way that you passed the previous stages before criminality.
