You can only link the Applicant application (Not sponsor), so yes, use your info. If it's just you and your husband with no dependents, list 2 people.

Not really that much info...It's similar to Ecas, but it's live info instead of updated when ever they click update. As soon as there is a change, we should be able to see it. Here is what mine looks like right now:

They all list a help button next to each line to show what that status means for each section.

hello..we just received our landing interview..Just want to share my timeline.
sept.10, 2015: Sent in application
dec.10 2015: AOR received
Jan.20: OWP recieved
May 19, 2016: Sponsor approved.AIP
May 19 : PCC requested
June 20: sent PCC
June 24: cic received PCC
July 22 M received via email
July 25: Landing appointment received via email!
AUg.2:landing appointment

I cant get mine to work either so I phoned CIC and the agent said that because my application has not reached first stage approval yet that I should be using my information (the sponsor) not my fiancés information (the applicant). I tried both ways anyways and still nothing.

Hi guys! I have a question! My medical status is passed, Got SA, no AIP yet, but ecas shows DM!
Just wanted to know can DM be negative without being asked for interview or additional docs for proof of relationship?

Funny I just got DM letter (I think) and I went back to MyCIC to check and it still shows the same thing (background check in progress). I guess the new MyCIC thing isn't update instantaneous either...

Somehow that sentence "A final decision concerning the granting of permanent residence status will be made at that time." makes me nervous a little bit, though I have seen the same discussion here but I forgot what people said about it...

That is definitely incorrect....their bulletin said only the applicant's app would work. Also many that have been able to link, do not have AIP. (Including me) The only way I was able to link was by leaving out my passport information. (and putting 2 people for me--applicant and my husband--sponsor).

Sponsor needs ID...but not the photos--those are for the PR Card--so just the applicant.

It took me about 8 tries over several days to successfully link my application to MyCIC. My reward was learning that my background check is now in progress. Between this, my new job and my past military service I'm becoming used to having my background checked.

This is clearly an easier way to follow your progress (even though there's plenty of anecdotal evidence to suggest that mycic isn't as current as we'd hoped) than Ecas.

So now it's my turn to add:

Hi guys:

July 30, 2015 applicator here still waiting for anything!!!

First AOR October 21, 2015
OWP Nov 30, 2015
Second AOR March 17, 2016

Nothing else after the second AOR.

I didn't send medical exam and police certificate with my application (because there's no requirement of these on the checklist), would it be a problem??? I believe they will contact me to request.

Any July applicator got new progress???
