Hi everyone,

Need help please, I applied under sponsorship application last July 2014 and received AOR august 2014, my husband receieved email from CIC last March for the UCi same time our status online is already possible to check and it says on process since March 18, 2015. I applied separate OWP under pilot program at the 2nd week of May and and my permit valid until last week of May. Meaning to say my health card is already expired, anyone knows if its possible to extend or way to do extend the health card as i need it while waiting for the furst approval because I am pregnant now and need alqaya health card for my check up. I knoq it is complicated but dont knoq now whAt to do, tried to call CIC call center but always busy line. Thank you in advance for any answer.

I just got an 3 month extension approved with Bc health. My Working Holiday permit expired and im still waiting for the pilot program open work permit to come. Called them up and had to send in proof Ive applied for the permit - receipts, canada post tracking receipts, letter from work that im staying employed while on implied status.
If i still haven't got my permit after 3 months they will extend another 3 but that's it.

Hi Sophie,

I logged in my ecas this morning the status now is Decision Made. I used to have two lines: application received and medical received(updated just one week before AIP).
Now updated into four lines: application received, start processing on May 29'15, medical received and decision has been made.
It seems that depending on the officers, status may not be updated until AIP. As I saw many people have their applications started processing only few months after AOR.

It says they sent me a DM letter via mail on May 29. Is it usual to receive DM letter via mail delivery?
It also says the office will contact me concerning this decision. Do I expect a phone call from CIC?

landed this afternoon! At the door, they asked to see a copy of the appointment email that we received. Then the officer asked to see the applicant's passport and our marriage license. She also checked both our driving licenses to make sure we were living in the same address.

the confirmation of the permanent residence that she gave me had the wrong date for last entry to canada and original entry. i pointed that out but she said i shouldnt worry about it. i am really not worried about the last entry to canada becasue that changes over time, but should i call cic and ask again about the original date of entry? they mistakenly put the date that i came to canada 2 years ago after a vacation, but my original entry was 5 years ago.

I did not include Medical and Police clearance. I have my medicals and Police clearance with me
rite now should I go ahead and send them or wait for CIC to ask for them? and also am still not
able to view my application online thru e cas.

Congrats! It happened before that CIC sent snail mail instead of email, I don't know why they are doing this. I doubt that you will receive a phone call, at this stage just emails and snail mails.

Send them now, so you will have a chance to get AIP and DM at the same time.

no I sent in the application in november, they sent me an email on february 2nd telling me they received it on dec 5 2014.
