Hey guys. Anyone know how long after cic receives medicals does one get the landing letter? CIC updated today they received hubby medicals on April 11 and that his medical is the only outstanding requirement left.

hey @Rifat! GREAT! you got your medicals!! isn't it better when you dont have to chase your lawyer for info?
well... now that they have received your hubby's medicals you have to wait to get DM. (for me, was exactly 50 days between medicals and DM). and after you get DM, you have to wait for landing letter, which can take a while more. (im still waiting for my landing letter and supposely Montreal is one of the fastest!) the time fram between DM and Landing letter depends on your office...Vancouver for example, is known for being one of the slowest ones...

I sent in mine on feb 19th. no replies yet

Guys, I didnt get any letters or email saying that my files been transfered to missisauga. I am June 2013 applicant. If I dont get the transfer notification, does that mean my file is still at vegreville?

I was shock CPC-M officer called me to tell me that they just started my application and they told me that to expect something within two months means 10 months waiting

You are not the only one, me too, I bet there are more. Yesterday I asked to my lawyer about it, so far he says they haven't receive any letter of any app he is carrying, I don't know what to think

just to make sure, in your case I would call them to ask what going on, anyway for you there is no much to worry as you already got AIP.

Did they call you just to say that they started working on your application or to request any specific info?

That's good news though that they've actually started on yours! I'm almost hoping we get a call like that, ours was received a day after yours...and today is our one year anniversary so would be amazing if we heard some news on ours as well.

Actually the last time I called them was I want to follow up my application coz medicare and sin is expired and needed to be renewed, so the agent emailes the CPC-M to follow up my application, as far as i remember they emailed cpc-m april 8, then i received a call this morning they told me to check my application status in the website with in 2 months because they just started my application and they told me if i havent received anything in 2 months i should call them again. That's it. So i think i should wait. I was shock also the caller was Unknown when i answer it she said she was an officer in CPC-M updating me with my application.
