I got my AIP today!!!!!
So happy!!!!
I couldn't sleep half night when I saw Dec'24 got AIP. So I was thinking abut updating my resume and get my nice work clothes from the upper shelves))))
But didn't want to jinx it and decided to wait))))

I can't understand if i got and stage or not...it says i am eligible to be sponsored. And then it says application is complete and CIC Hamilton will contact me

Hello everyone Just got an email from CPC-Vegreville!! Got Stage 1 and 2 approval as well as my open work permit approved
Now anxiously waiting for the Calgary office to contact me.. wonder what the wait time is.. Screech any insight ..


I also want to thank you Screech for updating this time sheet (and everyone participating in the forum)... you guys have been an amazing support group. Wish you all the best of luck.. I'll keep checking in because I want to see everyone on that time sheet approved

I also live in Calgary. Today I just re-do my medical exam (already booked for the Blood and Urine test on 15Nov) and extend my Alberta Health Care Card which will send to via mail in 5-10 days.

I've been waiting for my OWP via mail since 28Oct so yesterday I called CIC and the lady said it can arrive any day now.

Please update your landing date.

congrats to those who got AIP and DM ..things seem to move smoothly in the past weeks...hopefully it keeps going like this...

So...a quick question: Does anyone know how long after CIC will update the latest status on their online-service when applicant got AIP or DM ??
I checked it today with my hubby's UCI and mine ...but nothing change after he got spousal approval and I got DM...His info still remain "in process" and mine only shows "application received"...

Just a little concern though...anyone could enlighten me with this would be appreciated...

Got up pretty early this morning and logged into CIC online-service...both status of my hubby's and mine shows " Decision Made"

sponsorship : (hubby's)

1.We received your application to sponsor "sunflora" on December 17, 2012.

2.We started processing your application on January 25, 2013.

3.We sent you a letter on November 5, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I have a question about (3), does it mean CIC send a snail mail to us, addressed to his name?

Permanent Residence ( my part)

1. We received "sunflora's" application for permanent residence on December 17, 2012.

2.We started processing "sunflor's" application on November 5, 2013.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on "sunflora's" application. The office will contact "sunflora" concerning this decision.

At (4), CIC does not show when they will send me a snail mail stating the date of my landing interview ?
or the online-service would later show more when Scarborough office send me this letter??

the same thing it was written in my case, but the only thing that I receive in snail mail was the landing letter......I didn't know either what means paragraph 3 .......I receive DM on 24 October, and they said they send a letter on 24 October.....I guess they mean the e-mail with DM...... :

Wow, many people got good news! Congrats all!
CIC took about 6 months to process applications received on Oct, but they seem to finish processing application received on Nov and Dec in only 1.5 months. I still wonder how huge applications were sent on October in 2012.

My e-cas is same as yours. My husband and I haven't received any snail letter about DM after getting e-mail. So I think e-mail is the letter which they mean.

Sounds like you gotten an AIP email from CIC. You can apply for OWP anytime now that you gotten past first stage (AIP).

Just a note that my wife went yesterday with AIP in hand to Service Ontario and applied for OHIP without incident (of course there is the 90 day waiting period following submission of yesterday's application). All is good.

The 90 days should start from your wife AIP date of October 18th, not Nov 7th.
