HI All,
I am the very first name on the 2013 list and I finally received my AIP on september 25th. I was out of the country on vacation at the time so I haven't had a chance to update yet. I also received my PR letter and We have our interview on October 24th.
It was a painfully long wait and im happy to finally be able to move on with life here.
This forum has been very helpful to us and I wish everyone the best of luck.

I looked at the 2013 timesheet, the CIC received your application on 6Nov'12 right? Earlier I thought OMG you sent in 2013 and you ahead of me. Now I realized you sent 1 month earlier than me....phewww.

our update: got DM email on 26th Oct..and 2 mins after we got another email saying pls ignore the previous email because there's error in it. see attached..(wtf..) I knew there's error as cic office at our location is closed... regardless, await a weeked, logged in ecasp, it says dm had been done. await cic office to contact.....

my wife and i left the country for wedding, and honeymoon travel, she might not be able to get back in as she does not have a visa for now....

i guess when i go back to Canada, and get the cic letter and mail her the letter and so she can apply for a visa to board???

hi guys: i need some advice: what kind of visa does my wife need to apply before she can come back to canada for the interview? i am sure it will be at the vancouver office. thank you

You should have also gotten the AIP letter from CIC along with your husband sponsor approval. Did you get an AIP letter from CIC?

Anyone has their status update online before they got DM letter? (Trying to reduce the dose of weekly disappointment here =))

At least you gotten AIP letter to use to apply for OWP and/or health care coverage. Just a matter of sitting tight and waiting for DM.

Its a crap shoot. Some (majority) tends to get DM email before eCas is updated. However there has been cases (minority) to get Ecas updated to DM before they gotten their DM emails.

While I give you a congrats on getting your DM, 6 months is way too long to get a landing letter appointment from your local CIC. I suggest that you contact CIC and find out what's the hold up. COPR has an expiry date to be used before actual landing. Otherwise they have to reissue COPR again.

I just called to cic office today and ask them about my case. She said my application send back Vegreville office to review my file again then I asked about COPR. She said they cancel COPR because my case under review in Vegreville office again and she said almost finalize.

Any suggestion please

Your COPR probably got "expired" due to you not landing in time before it got expired and needing a new COPR issued. This has happened to another applicant on timesheet. The vancouver office waited too long to send a landing letter. So they had to reissue a new COPR. The applicant has finally gotten a landing letter and landed.

Sitting tight and not being able to do anything is so frustrating ... I am making paper beads hehehe (that is a pretty low point). Slow work wise too right now, so renovated the whole bottom floor =)). I will soon run out of projects. Too much fidgeting =))

I just got the DM letter from CIC this afternoon and it was fantastic
My personal process is 1 year and it almost done ^^
I sent my application to CIC in August 2012
I got AOR in November 19, 2012
My application in process in Jan 10, 2013
I received AIP in Oct 3, 2013
And I got DM letter in Oct 15, 2013
Now just waiting for the interview date of Etobicoke office.
Anyone have any experience interview there? And how long would it take for the Etobicoke office send me the interview date?
I didnt pay the 490 PR fees and I will gonna pay immediately. Will it make my process take longer? What should I bring to the interview
