we're march applicants and no AIP as of now, we had to wait almost 2 months for CSQ, which we just received yesterday. i hope we get news soon! and congrats to everyone!

Congrats to march applicants.
Just spoke to cic, the agent said they are issuing letters for 10march apps.
Mine was receieved on 19 march.
I should wait another month.....

At first he said processing time is 9months...hahah.
Imagine....

Are u talking about AIP letters. If u r I think they are already in April more likely as erFiodena has stated that they have received AIP. Have u checked ur ecas? It might already be updated that the pr is in process and that would mean u have AIP

Agent first said wait till dec, he had no idea that march apps are in process. When i corrected him.
Then he put me on hold and said oh march 10 apps are getting aip. Your turn will come soon.

you'll probably recieve it any day. I heard from Inland 2011 forum that if you send the update form right away, it usually doesn't slow down the process. Different Immigrations Officers have different case, so each case may have a different processing speed. Don't worry, it'll come soon

Hi all 2012 applicants,

Today we got good news from CIC, we got our AIP, though sponsor’s ecase still shows “application received” . They received our application in April and no changes since then.

Congrats to all who got their AIP and good luck to someone who is still waiting

Yeah I guessed your paki from your name...
I had same idea that they take longer for pakies, but one of my friends applied in Nov2011. He got AIP exactly the same time as other people were getting here on this forum.
Even my AOR came around same date as other, so I have no reason to believe they take longer for us. But they do a proper check on security background, which is fair.
I submitted all my docs with my app so lets see.
My wife is sponsoring me.
