In Process - Status Explanation

Hi,

Can you clarify this doubt of mine that the ecas status states "Based on review of your complete application package, it has
been determined that your application is eligible for processing. Processing has begun."

Now the local visa office reviews the complete application package and based on its review which is explained on the ecas status page, application is eligible for processing. Doesn't it mean that the applicant has or is 67 pts or more subject to background checks and other checks but as per documentation provided, he is eligible. Kindly clarify

Hmm Thanks a lot for your reply. One applicant got rejected CHC London where reason stated was he didn't perform enough duties as per the documentation provided. Noc 0213. This is very strange and that is what is confusing.

that is weird because in process comes after visa eligibility review and they should have picked that up then.

I also feel the same. Rupeshhari kindly tell me as per the operation manual and logic In Process mean 67 points and above and now background check is on subject documents verification. I am worried as I have not received meds and ppr and its been 45 days since status is In Process

Well thanks for your reply. The detailed explanation to this status also states that the application is eligible for processing and processing has begun. I don't think you should be worried about your application. Every application is different. They probably made a mistake with the other application. If you are very worried, you can order CAIPS i guess. i am not familiar with it.

Hi! Rocky2727,

My status is still in process, it changed on 11/30/09. For me in process means that it passed the 67 marks and they will start verifying the docs submitted. I know one member, Caloy, his visa office is Australia and his status change to in-process but he received a letter requesting for updated docs. Check his previous post, this might help. So when your status is in process, it's either you will received request for medical of more supporting docs to satisfy visa officer. If you will check this forum, those whose status changed to in process, most of them received the medical request. One is exception which got rejection and one received letter for more docs. You have a big percentage of getting medical request. Happy new year.

If I may add, after submission of my full documents, they have asked additional document before my status change to "in process". The date of medical letter is 4 days after that. So I guess they are through in evaluating documents before they issue medical request letter.

Well no further news just 10 days back my employer received a verification call and thats it. Nothing else as if now
