you are right, u need to send all docs to CIO, not new delhi office. I assume new delhi CHC hasnt updated their check list per new rule. But dont worry, follow CIO instruction---they will evaluate ur case this time.
you have all complete list - well done!

best,
S!

The CIO will take care of sending the documents to the visa office if you are applying after June 26, 2010 once they review your application and determine it is eligible for processing.

(If, on the other hand, the CIO received your application before June 26, 2010 then you still need to submit the documents to the visa office during the 120 day period after you receive your first AOR)
thanks for the valuable information

I do not think need to send all the document with Initial Application
Please check Point 12 on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.PDF
they clearly mention in form IMM5612E
This document checklist (use it as the cover page)
Submit only the documents requested on this checklist.
I think u r wrong...we need to send all documents to CIO..
In form IMM5612E, This document checklist (use it as the cover page) means the document checklist of visa office not the checklist of CIO.
Submit only the documents requested on this checklist, means submit the documents requested on the visa office checklist, no need to provide application forms cause u have already included application forms.
Hope u have understood

What documents are required?
Use the Document Checklist (IMM 5612) to help you gather the necessary documents to submit your application to the CIO.
Make sure to consult the document checklist (IMM 5612) and the Visa Office specific requirements (supporting documents) for your country at: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled-mission.asp
to determine what documents you will need to provide. If you are not prepared to submit full documentation to the CIO do not apply now.
If you do not submit a complete application with the supporting documents, your application will be returned to you.

Hi Guys....

This is my first post...and I am very 'inexperienced' about the immigration process....having said that....I spent the entire day going through the posts....we have here are very very experienced and intelligent folks ready to help....

Now to my query....:)

I had applied earlier for canada pr...in 2008....after the canadian govt, came with new rules i.e. they were coming out with a list of 18 NOC to be considered...in Feb 2008 I guess. I applied in 2008 before the list came out....unfortunately my occupation was not listed in teh 18 list.

Now for the new 29 NOC list....I fall in 1122, but this is different from the NOC (1112) i had applied earlier for. (by the way I received an email from the canadian authorities in Feb 2010, that my application is rejected and I will get the refund).....now if I apply again in 1122...will the authorities get suspicious that my profile has changed...though I am in the same company...I am not lying by telling them about 1122..but I do perform some of the 1122 responsibilites.

Please help...since I am very eager and want to apply as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance,
Inexperienced

That seems to be a positive move. But when it comes about submitting documents/applications, you mean the initial application? My initial application was sent on 12th March and I received an AOR for the same. I am not very clear at which stage do we need to submit all the documents.

Given that the CIO received your application before the new Ministerial Instructions were issued on June 26, 2010 your application is still processed according to the old rules and the changes in this thread do not apply to you.
You should still follow the old process and send all the supporting documents to the visa office, within the 120 days as the CIO instructed you in the AOR.

Punjabi,
let me explain it to u. when we will send our all documents to CIO we have to mainitain following order:
1. Document checklist of CIO(it is the cover page)
2. Application forms
3. Passport pages
4. Original GT IELTS result
5. Visa office document checklist(it will be the cover page of the additional documents requested by visa office)
6. Documents requested by visa office
So, Document checklist of CIO is the main cover page & Visa office document checklist is the cover page of the additional documents requested by the visa office.
