Hi, I am filling out an IMM5669 for a dependent child who turned 18 while our application has been outstanding (they are non-accompanying). In the IMM5669 you have to fill out your personal history from age 18 i.e., employed, unemployed, student, etc. For a few months from when she turned 18 she was out-of-status in the US while her mother applied for an adjustment of status. They received her PR card a few months later.

The options for status are Citizen, PR, Visitor, Student, Foreign National, Other, Protected Person. Does anyone know which I should use? She originally entered the US as a Visitor but was beyond her visitor status. I was thinking I should use Other, and would enter her personal history as:
  • X date - X date - unemployed, Other status
  • X date - X date - unemployed, PR status
  • X date - X date - employed, PR status
