IMM0008 Generic Application query

Hi all,
As requested by NDVO i am filling IMM008 Generic form

1) I don't have Family Name(s) i.e. SURNAME in my Passport, but for validation of Form it is mandatory to fill field with Family Name
Could i fill "NA" in my Form

I am in the process of filling IMM008 General Application Form I have following queries, please help me:

1> Question No 6 in IMM008: "Where do you intend to live in Canada"?? Does this increase/decrease your chances of PR if you cose province where people are reluctant to go like CALGARY,EDMINTON. I have my uncle in Toronto and i wish to go there so as to start smoothely.
Please advice.

I am staying in Mumbai and started my paper work for PR under FSW, I have some queries regarding filling IMM008-General Application Form.
Can you please help me on the same:

1> Under Application Details Section Q.4 : what to answer " New Delhi or Chandigarh" is there any office in Mumbai.

2> Under Personal Detail Section Q13 : "Family name of Spouse/common Law Partner" Do i need to put My wife's family name pre/post marriage, as her family name has been chnnged post marriage.

it does not have any effect on your application. they just want to have an idea that how many immigrants are coming to toronto, alberta etc

Thanks for the prompt response, pleasae advice form 5669(Background declaration) and 5406(Additional Family info) has to be handfilled or need to be filled on computer and then print it out.

Can we use both electronic or handwriten in the same form as in 5669, we have to write our name in Native language and it sis impossible to write as fonts are not supported in the form.

Pleaase advice..

It does not have any influence of getting PR. Even you can change your decision after getting the PR.

background declaration is actually to check what you did since you were 18. including where you lived, have you served in military etc and include all your sisters and brother including your mother and father in additional family info. print out the form in english and later on write in your native language with black pen. if you have spouse your spouse will also need to fill background declaration and additional family info remember in additional family info form for your spouse your spouse will be the principal applicant and she will include your name as spouse and will include her brothers/sisters father/mother and children if you have any.
it's better to print it out this will make CIC the job a bit easy.

what you have written

1) No 6 : Canadian Educational Credential or ECA Report

2) NO 7 : (C) is your accompanying or common law partner proficient in english or french ?

3) No 11 : 1) Asset 2) Liabilities c) settlement funds

family name=surname or last name given names = first name, write exactly as it appears in her passport

Before marriage is called "Maiden Name". So for surname go with name after marriage.

In economic classes schedule form Q 12 "Work Experience" in main duties column the space is less to fill teh main duties.

What to write there... as I am providing detailed letters from my previous employers regarding my duties and responsibilities.

My wife's family name before marriage is "Sharma" and post marriage "Raja", however her given name remains the same.

The passport is with Post marriage Name"Raja", please suggest what to write.
