Ielts test

dear all,

Need your help with the below questions on ielts:

1) what is a good average score for ielts?
2) if we are unable to attend the preparation courses is there another way to prepare for the test?
3) at what stage of the process do we need to give the test?

Any other addict so advise or help,would be highly appreciated

Below answers in my opinion
1) There is no good score for IELTS. You get points in CRS depending on IELTS score. The higher your scores, the better points you get. For more information read http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp
2) Preparation courses are not mandatory but very helpful. You can however do a self study as well
3) Appearing for IELTS is the first step and should be done even before you create your profile.
