Hi,

It only applied to applicants who submitted their application on or after 10th April so anyone who applied before that does not have to fulfill this requirement under new rule.

What I know is there is a new rule announced by Minister Jason Kenney on the submission of the write-up for those whose first language is either French or English, ie they will get only one chance in the language evaluation after their submission.

Hence, applicants are advised to go for an independant language test, ie to take the TEF or the IELTS respectively, rather than to submit a write-up.

Please advise if anybody knows of any other recent amendments related to language requirements,...
