Ielts has requested as Additional Documents by CIC with medical

HI,

i have applied for temporary work permit visa from out side Canada. However, i wasn't made aware about IELTS for skills-B category jobs. CIC requested me to provide ielts as additional documents. i m a graduate from university of Monash and i wonder why they asked me to provide IELTS.
However, i have my current IELTS report of 6.5 band but im down in reading which is 4.5. I have submited this report at cic as i didnt hv time to retake the exam before the deadline of additional documents submission.

Will this be a matter?

Pls advise?

I think the score looks okay. Don't worry. They need IELTS not band 7 or 8.

For skilled workers they will not ask you high scores in IELTS.
