IELTS Expiry in ONIP

Dear Friends,

Recently I received NOI from OINP. But my IELTS is expiring on July 1st 2023. I am planning to submit my application before it expires. So while I submit my application, does IELTS score gets locked in OINP also?

Even if I retake IELTS for EE pool should I maintain same score? If I get less score will OINP reject my application?

Also should my spouse also retake IELTS and maintain same score?

Please do reply. As I am in a situation where I need help.

Thank you..

1. Submit your OINP application before July 1st. As long as the test results are valid on the date of application, OINP wont reject your application.
2. Prepare and take the test after application or nomination or ASAP.
3. Update your EE profile (before IELTS expiry) with your new results to stop EE profile from being ineligible.
4. Do not worry about scores, because after you get nomination, your score will be: 600 (nomination) + your EE score (after new IELTS scores), which will be way above cutoff, and scores wont matter that much.
