IELTS expires in Sept. Should I give it now or wait?

Hi,

My IELTS will expire on 7th Sept 2015.

I wanted to ask

1. Should I give my IELTS now or shall I wait for the point drop in the subsequent draws?
2. Suppose I get my ITA in July and and I submit my application in mid Aug.. will my IELTS Score will be considered since it is being expired on 7th Sept 2015?

Please help.
