IEC 2018 When Should I apply?

Hi everyone. I am wanting to know when the best time to apply for the 2018 pool of candidates. I am wanting to go to Vancouver possibly may/june 2018. But not sure fully how I should go about it. Should I apply now or wait till next year?

1. You might want to get into the pool now, depending on how many spaces are left. If you mentioned your citizenship, it would help.

No point really in applying now as only 7 spots left and 6883 in the pool. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/iec/selections.asp?country=gb&cat=wh

There is a chance that the 2018 program might open Oct/Nov time if timing same as for the 2017 program no way to tell. All those in the pool now will have to reapply again so is just a matter of watching the CIC site or following the official IEC facebook page or twitter feed and applying as soon as the pool opens. The process is a random selection but still apply as soon as opens
