2282 User Support Technicians

My consultant says 0213 but it has classified elsewhere which leads to 2282.

Is this acceptable?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
No, you can not use a NOC "classified elsewhere" to apply for FSW Cat. 1. You have to qualify for the actual NOC that is on the list of 38. If your job duties don't qualify you for NOC 0213 or something else on the list of 38, 1 year job experience within the last 10, you can not apply under Cat. 1. You can apply under 2282 under Cat. 2 if you have a job offer or under Cat. 3 if you are already in Canada.

When was 2282 valid?

0213 has all Managerial titles. I have to be a Manager?
Job offer where?

Where is the link?

No disrespect CV User, but instead of keep posting asking for links, why not go into the Canada website and search for it. It's easy to find. It can e found in little under 30 seconds.

The NOC information in my opinion is critical to whether you go to Canada or not, so make sure you know what your doing, and make sure you read about it too.

When was 2282 valid? Before February 27, 2008, you could have applied as FSW under NOC 2282 without a job offer. The rules have been changed. Go look at the CIC website under skilled worker and you will see. To apply under Category 1, you need to have at least 1 year of experience in a job from the list of 38 in the last 10 years. If you don't have that, you can't apply under Cat. 1. For Cat. 2 you need a job offer (AEO) in a skilled job. For Cat. 3, you need to already have been in Canada for 12 months. If you have none of this, you can not apply as an FSW. Here is your link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

Has there been any changes on the NOC lately? 38 occupations still apply?

Any changes coming soon to the Federal Skill program?
