Humanitarian and Compassionate Considerations - Mother in USA with No Status

Hello,

I am planning to apply for my mother who has been living in the USA without status overstaying her Tourist Visa (20 years) + moved there due to personal problems. Here is a nutshell of my situation:

1. I got PR in 2022 - Covid Times (Healthcare worker)
2. Both my husband and I have good jobs. We came on student and work visa
3. I have a toddler who is now diagnosed with autism and nonverbal and I need help.
4. I have no relatives here in Canada (Only my husband and 10 years old daughter)
5. My mother is divorced and almost 60 years old. I am an only child.
6. She has no material ties to her home country.

Do you know if anyone has any experience with such a case? I am seeing a lawyer but would like any information before I go... Thanks for your time.
