how to show fund for my visa?

guess you will have to convert your funds(from gold loan) to fd's and by keeping them as collateral security you will get educational loan.

tell them that its not a simple educational loan.you will keep collateral security for it(means the amount of money you take as loan will be kept by you in form of fd)
i guess this will make your loan process faster.
by the way last date of visa application for students apllying for january term is december 1st.
and hence you got very short time.

There is no rule that states you cannot use your own funds.just keep in mind that the amount you show should be more that required.I am telling what i have done.If you have been holding these funds for a long time it is still better.
You can get a letter from the bank (on their letterhead)stating that you hold "XYZ" amount of funds since"_______".
That should take care of the financial aspects.
Even when i applied for the visa I used to hear all such stuff.Don't worry these are mere suggestions.
