how to process immigration if I get married to a Canadian citizen?

what documents do i need to apply for to get married to a Canadian citizen in Canada?

Or is it easier to tell my to-be-partner to come to my country, and get married here first, and we both go to Canada together later?

How long is the process for both options? And how much it costs?

What country are you from? Processing times vary for permanent resident (PR) spousal visas (I'm assuming that is what you're asking about) depending on your country of origin, whether your app is inland or outland, the level of complication in your case, whether all the required documents are included in your app, how long it takes to get your background clearances, etc etc. If you can enter Canada as a visitor then you can marry here, but just getting into the country can be iffy. The fees for a PR visa come to $1040, plus the medical exam and clearance costs.
