How to have translated documents properly certified for PR to Canada in Thailand

My wife is applying for PR and we had her documents such as birth certificate, marriage certificate translated from Thai to English from the service center at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There is a signed sticker on both the copy of the original and the translated document from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as a stamp from the organization that translated the documents.

We have submitted the documents to our Canadian Immigration Lawyer and he claims that we are missing an affidavit and the documents may not be accepted by the Canadian Government.

What we find confusing is that on the Canadian Embassy website it says that to use our Thai Marriage Certificate in Canada we need to first have it translated and them stamped by the Thai Office of Foreign Affairs.

We don't want to have this document rejected when we apply. I was wondering if anyone has applied for PR and had their documents certified by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was it accepted by IRCC?
